Intentions vs Expectations

I recently facilitated an executive team coaching session and decided rather than canvass the leaders’ expectations of the day, I invited they share their intentions for the day.

Focusing on what you commit to give and bring rather than expect to get and take, can open up a world of possibilities.

Today, I invite you to focus on what you could bring and give to make a difference to the people you lead. Ask yourself:

  1. How could I BE to make a difference in others’ lives?

  2. What could I DO to make a difference in others’ lives?

  3. What do I HAVE to offer that could add greater value to others?

I thought you may find the Guide to Leading in Uncertainty helpful to gather your intentions on how you could make a difference.

We have no control over what we get, only what we give.

Take care
