Patterns vs Plans

When you succeed, has it more to do with your patterns or plans? Conversely, when you fail, is it because of your patterns or plans?

Plans may set down your best intentions but are no guarantee. Patterns of thoughts, feelings and actions will always guide you towards or away from success.

Both matter but patterns matter more.

I invite you take a moment and reflect on:

  1. Patterns of Thought – what assessments do you hold about yourself that may help or hinder your success? Believing you’re good enough may better serve you than believing you’re not.

  2.  Patterns of Feeling – what moods help you access more of your greatness, and which may push your greatness away? Fear will limit your space of possibility whilst curiosity will expand your world of possibilities.

  3. Patterns of Action – accepting the normality of uncertainty (Thought) can trigger a mood of wonder (Feeling) which predisposes you to see new possibilities and act with greater conviction and confidence.

Patterns precede plans. Being a better observer of your patterns may help you to better plan for success.
