The (unspoken) secrets of success

Over the years I’ve coached executives, I’ve come to recognise that CEO’s and executives who are assessed to be ‘consistently effective’, share one thing in common – they have embraced the unspoken secrets of success.

These are unspoken because, for most, they are seen as weaknesses or flaws to be avoided and concealed.

Consistently effective leaders accept that it is natural and normal to deal with the 5 domains of life. They accept their success depends on having to always work through:

  1. Imposter – they see it as a sign of hidden rather than a lack of potential.

  2. Self-doubt – they lean towards belief and let go of hope.

  3. Insecurity – they recognise discomfort precedes discovery.

  4. Fear – they walk with fear and not surrender to it.

  5. Lack of confidence – they trust their intent more than their intellect.

A COMMITMENT

How accepting are you of the 5 domains of life? What would be possible if you chose to ‘work with’ the 5 domains of life? How would this enable you to touch your potential?
